For our company with products in the DIY sector, we are looking for a buyer to take over completely with immediate effect. The company was founded at the end of '19 as a UG (haftungsbeschränkt) with the idea of making do-it-yourself (DIY) accessible to everyone. DIY packages are sold which contain all the materials and tools needed to create a specific DIY product. We value a high-quality, personal and sustainable character. An important component of the DIY sets is the individual design option for customers. That is why the instructions (also included in the package) always offer space for your own ideas and hints for alternative designs, in addition to detailed handicraft steps. We have developed all the products on our own and we also have them at home. We pack the packages ourselves and send them with DHL. It is with a heavy heart that we would like to part with the company. It was meant to be a project alongside our studies that was fun and didn't take up too much of our free time. Now that we both work full time and are pursuing new paths in our private lives, we have realised that we can no longer devote the necessary time and attention to it. We are convinced that in the right hands the company can be scaled and generate profitable returns. In our view, the crucial factors are experience in marketing to make private buyers more aware of the products, a good network to reach business customers and budget to buy materials in larger quantities and thus more cost-effectively. We would be happy to provide detailed balance sheets if you are seriously interested. A rough overview of our last turnover: 11,000€ in 2020, 15,000€ in 2021, 7,500€ in 2022. We explain the drop in turnover last year mainly with a much lower marketing effort and general time investment on our part compared to previous years. The decline in purchasing power due to inflation certainly played a role as well. Our asking price is the capital contribution of 1.500€ (750€ per founder). In addition, all outstanding liabilities to the two shareholders are to be taken over at a total of 6,300€ (3,150€ per shareholder) and repaid by the company.
